All websites must follow the acceptable web standard (as specified in the w3c.org) and compliant with the rules and regulations binding the competition. Contestants interested in the web design category will be required to carry out two compulsory projects:
1st :: A redesigned version of the Splashers Challenge website for 2010 (Next Edition)
2nd :: Any other choice website which could include the following suggested areas:
- A Educational / School website
- An ICT / Servicing / Telecommunications / Oil and Gas Company
- A Bank / Insurance / Stock Organization website
- An Agricultural Services Company website
- A Religious/Non-Governmental Organization website
- A General Consulting/Manufacturing Services site
- A Corporate Law / Judiciary firm
Contestants participating under the web design category would be judged according to the following criteria below:
- Content (25 points)
- Overall Presentation (20 points)
- Navigability (20 points)
- Originality of Work(20 points)
- Portability (10 points)
- Load time (5 points)
